Booking websites for resorts and homestays

Direct booking websites with live availability, Razorpay payments and a two-way sync with your property management system, so a room sold on a portal can't be sold again on your own site. Hong Sau runs both of its properties on one.

What we built

  • A direct booking engine with live availability and instant confirmation.
  • Razorpay checkout, marked paid only when the gateway's signed webhook confirms it.
  • Two-way sync with eZee, so a direct booking and a portal booking cannot sell the same room.
  • PDF vouchers and a confirmation email with the gate code, sent automatically.
The hard part

Rate parity was the hard part, not the code.

Undercutting the portals would have risked the listings, so the direct site wins on inclusions and a best-price guarantee instead.

Questions we get asked

Can it stop a room being sold twice?

Yes. Hong Sau's booking engine syncs both ways with its eZee system, so a website booking and a portal booking can never claim the same room.

Can one system run more than one property?

Hong Sau runs two on one platform. The second added day-outs and corporate bookings, which the portals never sold for them, and a third would cost a fraction of the first.

Will guests really book on our own website?

When it is easy and trustworthy, yes. Some guests would rather book without phoning anyone. Hong Sau's owner doubted a website could close a resort booking; the direct site now takes bookings every month.

Who owns the guest data?

You do. A portal booking arrives as a reference number; a direct booking arrives as a guest you can invite back.
